Introduction

Telecom is a channel of information throughout a co-axial cable, optical fiber or free space as broadcasting is concerned with the engineering. Free space is required to broadcast information encoded in a carrier wave in order to navigate career information to the appropriate frequency shift, known as the modulation. Popular analog modulation techniques include amplitude modulation and frequency modulation. The choice of modulation and the cost of a system affect the performance and carefully by engineers must balance these two factors. Once system transmission characteristics are determined, telecommunication engineers design the transmitter and receiver required for such systems. The two sometimes a two-way communication device known as a transceiver are combined. A major consideration in the design of transmitters is their power consumption as this is closely related to their signal strength. If a transmitter signal strength is insufficient information signals will be corrupted by noise.
