• A pass in the Bachelor?s Degree Course with minimum 40% of marks in aggregate.
• Candidates who have passed the Post-Graduate Degree under Open University system without undergoing the Bachelor?s Degree Course may also apply.
• Those who have appeared for the final year examination of the above mentioned Degree Courses in the year of TNDALU entrance examination and awaiting results may also apply.
• There is No age limit for admission into this course.
• Employed candidates are not eligible to apply.
• Candidates who have not passed qualifying examination and not received the Degree/ Provisional certificate on the date of counselling are not eligible for admission to 3 year degree course.

• A pass in the Higher Secondary (+2) or Equivalent Examination with minimum 45% of marks in aggregate. In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, 40% of marks in aggregate.
• Those who have appeared for the HSC or equivalent examination in the year of TNDALU entrance examination and awaiting results may also apply.
• Employed candidates are not eligible to apply.
• Age limit for admission: A candidate should not have completed 21 years of age as on 1st June of the year of TNDALU entrance examination. There is no age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
• Candidates who have not passed qualifying examination and not received the Mark statement on the date of counseling are not eligible for admission to 5 year degree course.
