The University Drama Club at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) in association with NSS Cell, MANUU initiated a series of awareness programmes about COVID-19.
As part of this series, a Nukkad Natak was performed in Boys and Girls Hostel on December 10, 2021 to educate the students and staff about the deadly virus.The performers also advise the viewers to use masks and get vaccines to be safe through the street play.
Prof. Mushtaq Patel, Provost Boys Hostel while praising the efforts of students urged the boarders to follow COVID appropriate behaviour. Dr. Viquar Unissa, Provost Girls Hostel advised girl students to use masks all the time and sanitize their hands regularly. Prof. Mohammad Fariyad, Programme Coordinator, NSS Cell warned students against the deadly coronavirus and advised them to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
The Nukkad Natak was directed by Mr. Meraj Ahmad, Cultural Coordinator & Assistant Professor, MCJ. Students - Zameer Hasan, Shahzaan, Mazhar, Mustafeez, Qadir, Noor Mujassam, Majid, Nafis, Misbah, Fahim, shahnawaz, Nazakit and Musheera presented the Nukkad Natak. In the second leg, the Nukkad Natak was also staged today at the different locations around MANUU campus.
