Telangana UG, PG final-year exams to be held in August
Students from the State universities can now gear up to appear for their final-year or terminal semester undergraduate and postgraduate exams. The higher education department is chalking out plans to conduct final-year examinations of various UG and PG courses in the second or the third week of August.

The decision to hold the final-year degree exams comes following the University Grants Commissions (UGC) direction to conduct the examinations by the end of September. In the coming days, the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will hold a meeting with authorities of the State universities and a detailed schedule for exams will be released. The exams will be held in offline mode i.e. pen and paper mode.

As per UGC guidelines, students of the terminal semester/final year who are unable to appear for the exams would be given an opportunity to appear in special exams whenever such exams are conducted by universities.
