The Osmania University (OU) plans to hold the June 2nd week of the undergraduate (UG) tests. A notice to that effect will be given within two or three days by the exam branch of the varsity.
The degree exams, which will start second week in June, will be extended until the end of July. The OU administration is also working on the postgraduate program review dates and they are likely to launch in the second week of July.
Owing to the lockout resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, many working days have been lost, the varsity is also likely to hold exams on Sunday. However, in view of the Coronavirus outbreak, this plan would focus on the Governments lockdown decision.
In the second week of June, master and backlog exams for undergraduate students are scheduled. The PG exams will begin in July when major UG exams end. In two or three days we will give a notification for degree exams, Dr Sriram Venkatesh told Telangana Today, OU controller of exams.
He said the varsity has for many years maintained physical distance in conduct exams. During the exams we are already maintaining a one-meter physical distance between students. If the need arises, we will increase the number of centers and ensure that in the examination halls more physical distance is practiced, said Sriram Venkatesh.
