Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU), Faculty of Social Sciences organized Open Social Forum (Open Talk) on "Awareness on Central Budget – 2022-23" an online webinar at the University Campus on Wednesday.

Prof. R.V. Ramana Murthy, Professor of Economics, Hyderabad Central University was the Keynote Speaker on the occasion. He said the central budget was being spent by the government irrespective of the financial sector. the budget did not focus on human resource development on infrastructure there was no attempt in the budget to increase railway taxes and there was injustice in the budget for the railways and allocations to the education, medical sectors have not been made properly in the current situation.

Prof.Ghanta Chakrapani, Dean, Social Sciences preside over the program. He specially mentioned that main objective of the program. Dr. K. Krishna Reddy, Program Organiser, proposed vote of thanks. All Directors, Heads of the Branches, Deans, Teaching and Non-Teaching staff members, and Research Students participated.
