1.In the reference ninth read above, the Engineer-in-Chief (AW), Irrigation & CAD Department, Hyderabad has stated that the Government have issued orders for engaging the services of (87) Nos. of Retired Deputy Executive Engineers / Assistant Executive Engineers / Assistant Engineers / Technical Officers, for a period of one year to meet the work load of Minor and Medium Irrigation works and their tenure expires by 31-03-2019. He has also stated that, out of 87 Nos. sanctioned vide reference 7th cited, 84 Nos of retired engineers are working in Minor Irrigation Circles. Now as per requisitions received from the circles, the ENC (AW) has requested to permit to continue the services of 69 Nos. of retired Deputy Executive Engineers / Assistant Executive Engineers / Assistant Engineers / Technical Officers on contract basis for a further period of one year w.e.f. 01.04.2020 to 31.03.2021 to take up Minor Irrigation during 2020-2021.
2.Government, after careful examination of the proposal of the Engineer- in-Chief (AW), Irrigation & CAD Department, Hyderabad hereby accord permission to continue the services of (69) Nos. of Retired Deputy Executive Engineers / Assistant Executive Engineers / Assistant Engineers / Technical Officers on contract basis for a further period of one year with effect from 01-04-2020 to 31.03.2021 or till the need ceases whichever is earlier with a remuneration of Rs. 28,000-00 (Rupees Twenty Eight Thousand only) per month to the Retired Diploma Engineers and Rs.29,000-00 (Rupees Twenty Nine Thousand only) per month to the Retired Graduate Engineer, to meet the work load of Minor Irrigation during 2020-2021, subject to the conditions stipulated in G. O. second and third read above.
3.The expenditure sanctioned in Para (2) above is chargeable to the Head of Account "4702 – Minor Irrigation; MH – 101 – Surface Water; GH – 00 – NSP; SH – 12 - Construction & Restoration of M. I. Sources; 300 – Other Contractual Services".
4.The Engineer-in-Chief (AW), I & CAD Department, Hyderabad shall take necessary action, accordingly.
5.This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (HRM.I) Department vide their U.O. No.2999-F/124/A1/HRM.I/2020, dated 30-04-2020.
