TSTET 2025 Notification for the January 2025 cycle has now been issued. Qualified and interested individuals may apply at schooledu.telangana.gov.in & manabadi.co.in between November 7 and November 20. TS TET Notification 2024 was released on Monday (November 4). This is the second TET notification for the year as the government has decided to conduct the exam bi-annually. Online-first phase of the TET was successfully conducted between the May 20 and 02 June 2024.

Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test 2024

Candidates must meet certain qualifications to be eligible for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). For Paper 1, a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ed.) is required, while Paper 2 necessitates a Bachelors degree in Education (B.Ed.). This certification is crucial for promotions to School Assistant positions, leading many in-service teachers to apply.

TS TET 2024 Notification

Telangana TET has held the TET nine times across all these sessions and the January 2024 session will account for the tenth TET iteration in the state. With the demand for certified educators on the rise, the government introduced two TETs this year. For the exam held in May 2024, 286,381 candidates applied.

Telangana TET Application Fee 2024

Candidates applying online for teacher recruitment will be required to pay the application fee. Candidates have to pay Rs 400 as application fee for TS TET 2024 and the payment has to be made through online mode only. Candidates belonging to any category must pay the application fee. No Telangana TET 2024 registration will be accepted if payment has not been made.

Candidates can download the Information Bulletin free of cost from the TSTET website: https://tstet.cgg.gov.in from 25.03.2024 onwards. Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum credentials for a candidate to apply for TS TET 2024 are specified below:

Candidates who are in their last year of any of the NCTE or RCI-accredited Teacher Education Courses and/or Language Pandit Training Courses can also apply for the TS-TET-2024. However, it is clarified that mere appearance or passing the TS-TET will not entitle a candidate to be considered for appointment to the post of Teacher in Government, Zilla Parishad, Mandal Parishad, and Private Aided Schools, unless he possesses the qualifications prescribed for appointment to such post in the relevant statutory recruitment rules framed by the State Government from time to time as on the date prescribed therein for possession of s

TS-TET Structure, Content, and Syllabus

a) The structure and content of each part of Paper-I and Paper-II of the TS-TET, and the breakup of the total 150 marks among various parts of the paper are given in the Information Bulletin.

TS TET Pass Criteria

The criteria for considering pass in TS-TET are as follows:

BC	50% and above
SC/ST/ Differently abled (PH)**	40% and above

NOTE:** Note: With regard to visually and orthopedically disabled minimum 40% disability only will be considered. With regard to Hearing Impaired, minimum 75% disability will be considered under PH category.

TET Certificate / Marks Memo Validity Period:

The validity period of TET qualifying certificates for appointment, unless otherwise notified by the Government of Telangana, would remain valid for life.

Weightage

According to G.O.Ms.No.36,School Education (Trg.) Dept., dt 23.12.2015 noted under ref.1, the TET score is given 20% weightage in the Telangana Teacher Recruitment Test.
