MBBS: కన్వీనర్‌ కోటా పూర్తిగా రాష్ట్ర విద్యార్థులకే

రాష్ట్రంలోని ప్రభుత్వ కాలేజీల్లో 4,115కు పెరిగిన ఎంబీబీఎస్‌ సీట్లు

రాష్ట్ర విభజన జరిగి పదేళ్లు పూర్తి కావడంతో కన్వీనర్‌ కోటా సీట్లన్నీ రాష్ట్ర విద్యార్థులతోనే భర్తీ కానున్నాయి. మరోవైపు రాష్ట్రంలోని వైద్య కళాశాలల్లో ఎంబీబీఎస్, బీడీఎస్‌ సీట్ల భర్తీ ప్రక్రియకు కాళోజీ విశ్వవిద్యాలయం ఆదివారం రిజిస్ట్రేషన్లతో శ్రీకారం చుట్టింది. ఈ సీట్ల కోసం నీట్‌లో అర్హత సాధించిన విద్యార్థులు ఆగస్టు 13వ తేదీ సాయంత్రం 6 గంటల లోపు రిజిస్ట్రేషన్‌ చేసుకోవాల్సి ఉంటుంది. అనంతరం సర్టిఫికెట్ల పరిశీలన పూర్తిచేస్తారు. ఆలిండియా కోటా సీట్ల భర్తీకి ఆగస్టు 14 నుంచి రిజిస్ట్రేషన్‌ ప్రక్రియ ప్రారంభం కానుంది. మొదటి రౌండ్‌ సీట్ల కేటాయింపును ఆగస్టు 23న వెల్లడిస్తారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో రాష్ట్రంలో కూడా 20 తర్వాత సీట్ల కేటాయింపునకు ఆప్షన్లు తీసుకుంటారు. రాష్ట్రంలో కొత్తగా అనుమతి వచ్చిన నాలుగు ప్రభుత్వ వైద్య కళాశాలలు సహా మొత్తం 60 (30 ప్రభుత్వ, 30 ప్రైవేటు) కళాశాలల్లో 8,315 ఎంబీబీఎస్‌ సీట్లు అందుబాటులో ఉన్నాయి. వీటిలో ప్రభుత్వ వైద్య కళాశాలల్లో జాతీయ కోటా కింద 617 సీట్లు భర్తీ కానుండగా మిగిలిన సీట్లను రాష్ట్రంలో కాళోజీ ఆరోగ్య విశ్వవిద్యాలయం భర్తీ చేయనుంది.

రిజర్వేషన్లు ఇలా

రాష్ట్రంలో ఎంబీబీఎస్, బీడీఎస్‌ సీట్లలో ఎస్సీలకు 15 శాతం, ఎస్టీలకు 10 శాతం, బీసీలకు 29 శాతం సీట్లు దక్కనున్నాయి.

9, 10, ఇంటర్‌ ఇక్కడ చదివిన వారే స్థానికులు

ఈ ఏడాది నుంచి 9, 10, ఇంటర్‌ను (వరుసగా నాలుగేళ్లు) రాష్ట్రంలో చదివినవారినే ఎంబీబీఎస్, బీడీఎస్‌ సీట్ల కేటాయింపులో స్థానిక విద్యార్థులుగా పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకుంటారు.

రాష్ట్రంలో ఈసారి నీట్‌-యూజీ పరీక్షను 77,848 మంది విద్యార్థులు రాయగా 47,356 మంది అర్హత సాధించారు. ఈ ఐదేళ్లలో 60 శాతం మందికి పైగా విద్యార్థులు నీట్‌-యూజీలో అర్హత సాధించడం ఇదే మొదటిసారి. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో ఎంబీబీఎస్‌ సీట్లకు పోటీ మరింత పెరిగింది.
