Mansukh Mandaviya Inaugurated IFFCO Nano Urea Liquid Plants at Aonla and Phulpur

 
Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers, officially opened the IFFCO Nano Urea Liquid Plants in Uttar Pradesh`s Aonla and Phulpur. It is a significant day, according to Dr. Mandaviya, since Nano urea plants have been dedicated to the country. He stated that nanourea would secure the farmers` success and improve their income in the ensuing years.
 
The Union Minister emphasised the advantages of Nano urea, claiming that it is the greatest environmentally friendly technology and offers pollution solutions. It is great for farmers since it preserves the soil and boosts yield.

  • The government’s Expert Committee has approved Nano DAP and it will also come to replace DAP soon.  He added that Nano-DAP will immensely benefit our farmers and it will be available at half the cost of DAP.
  • Dr. Mandaviya also underlined the efforts of the government in making Nano urea available to the farmers.
  • He also pointed out the challenges in bringing Nano urea ranging from getting approvals from various departments and convincing the farmers to tackle the conventional urea lobby.
  • Dr. Mandaviya also informed that it is an alternate fertilizer. The farmers for years used urea and DAP to increase productivity. When urea is used, only 35% Nitrogen (Urea) gets used by the crop and the unused affects the soil.
  • The Union Minister appreciated the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has always worked towards increasing farmer income and their prosperity. He also insisted on natural farming, Biofertilizers, and alternate fertilizers.
  • He also commended PM’s role during COVID, the prices of fertilizers increased, and one Urea bag touched the Rs 4000 mark but PM ensured that the price of fertilizers was not increased.
  • The Union Minister congratulated IFFCO for its endeavors. He noted that Commerce, business, and profit are not foremost for Sahakarita but farmers’ welfare is.

First nuclear plant of North India to be built in Haryana

Haryana will host the first nuclear power plant in North India, according to Union Minister Jitendra Singh. The plant will be located in Gorakhpur.

 

According to Government Minister Jitendra Singh, the first nuclear power plant in North India will be developed in Gorakhpur, Haryana. He asserted that the installation of nuclear and atomic energy plants across the country, which had previously been largely restricted to states in the south like Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh as well as western Maharashtra, would be one of the major accomplishments under Prime Minister Narendra Modadi`s leadership.

  • According to Singh, the Center has unanimously approved the installation of 10 nuclear reactors in an effort to boost India’s nuclear capability.
  • The Department of Atomic Energy is also allowed to join forces with Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) to get funding for the opening of nuclear power plants.
  • Haryana’s Gorakhpur In the Fatehabad area of Haryana, the Anu Vidyut Pariyojana’s (GHAVP) Pressurized Heavy Water Reactor (PHWR) with two units, each with a capacity of 700 MWe, is currently being built.
  • Of the entire monies allotted, $20,594 Cr. have been spent as of today.

First PM Gati Shakti Workshop Held in Goa for Western & Central Zone

Goa hosted the Western and Central Zone`s inaugural Prime Minister GatiShakti regional workshop. The workshop served as a forum for mutual learning between the States and Central Ministries/Departments and included talks on use cases of the National Master Plan (NMP) adoption by Central Ministries & State Departments for planning.

 

Sumita Dawra, Special Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry and senior government officials from Central Ministries and State Governments of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh were present on the occasion.

  • Secretary, DPIIT Anurag Jain while addressing the gathering stated that PM GatiShakti will start the virtuous cycle of pulling in private investments, increasing production, employment, and growth.
  • He added that the GatiShakti NMP was launched to propel the nation towards achieving the goal of Atma Nirbhar Bharat. 
  • He also noted that the root cause of many problems faced by the common man is the huge disconnect between macro-level planning and its implementation at the micro level and that the GatiShakti NMP is a huge step towards resolving the same.
  • Synergies can be built to ensure integrated planning, synchronized implementation, and monitoring of infrastructure, economic and social sector projects/schemes through this platform, added Secretary Anurag Jain.
  • Special Secretary, DPIIT Sumita Dawra observed that since the launch of PM GatiShakti on 13th Oct 2021 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, several milestones such as the launch of a National Logistics Policy have been achieved.
  • Tracing the progress made under PM GatiShakti NMP, she added that as of today over 1300 layers have been uploaded.
  • 30 Individual portals of Central Ministries and 36 States/UTs State Master Plan portals have also been developed.
