The Union Cabinet has extended AIM until March 2023.

 
The Union Cabinet approved the extension of the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) until March 2023, according to the official remarks released.

  • The Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) has been extended till March 2023 by the Union Cabinet. According to the statement, AIM`s stated aims include establishing 10,000 Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs), 101 Atal Incubation Centres (AICs), and financing 200 business owners through the Atal New India Initiatives.

  • The formation and support of the beneficiaries will cost more than Rs 2,000 crore, according to the budget.
  •  
  • The mission would be conducted by the NITI Aayog, according to the finance minister`s announcement in the 2015 Budget speech.
  • Through interventions at the school, university, research, MSME, and industry levels, the AIM aims to build an ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship across the country.
  • According to the statement, the AIM has focused on both infrastructure development and institution formation.
  • According to the announcement, AIM-supported enterprises have received over Rs 2,000 crores in funding from the government and private sector investors, as well as thousands of jobs. 
  • The AIM programs, which are spread across 34 states and union territories, aim to maximize India`s demographic dividend by encouraging more participation in the digital economy.

The SCR`s "One Station, One Product" promotion has begun at six major stations across the network`s six divisions.

  • The SCR`s "One Station, One Product" promotion has been launched at six major stations across its six divisions. 
  • As part of the new initiative, SCR in-charge General Manager Arun Kumar Jain has set up stalls at Secunderabad Station.
  • Stalls have been set up in Kacheguda and Vijayawada, Guntur, and Aurangabad.
  • The government announced the new scheme in the General Budget for 2022-23, and it is presently being tested in Tirupati.
  • The program intends to develop railway stations into sales and promotional centers, perfect for promoting indigenous and local products.
  • The stalls will be open in two phases, beginning next month on the 7th and finishing the following month on the 7th.

  • The Seema Darshan Project was inaugurated by Union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah in Nadabet on the Indo-Pak border in Gujarat`s Banaskantha District. 
  • The project was started with the goal of allowing citizens to view the BSF personnel`s daily lives and work on our border. 
  • At Nadabet, tourists can observe missiles, tanks, and planes used by the Indian Army and BSF.
  • The initiative was launched with the goal of allowing inhabitants of the country to witness directly the lifestyle of the Border Security Force (BSF) members who are continually protecting their motherland, as well as their living conditions, duties, and patriotism.
