For more than 20 years, the Super Dvora MK II-class Indian Naval Fast Attack Craft (IN FAC) T-81 has been successfully serving the nation. A 25-meter-long vessel with a displacement of 60 tons was designed at Goa Shipyard Ltd in collaboration with Israel`s M/s Ramta. It was commissioned in 1999 to become part of the Indian Navy. With a maximum speed of 45 knots, the ship is built for shallow waters, and has day/night surveillance and reconnaissance, search and rescue, beach insertion, extraction of marine commandoes and high-speed interception of intruder craft.
