Naveen Jindal honoured with ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ by University of Texas
The University of Texas at Dallas has given Naveen Jindal a lifetime achievement award in recognition of his contributions to business, politics, and education. Jindal earned the honour during a ceremony; he graduated from the university in 1992. This award, which is granted to those whose efforts have positively benefited society, is the highest honour given to an alumnus by the University of Texas, Dallas. Nobel Prize winner Aziz Sancar was the first recipient of the University of Texas at Dallas` Lifetime Achievement Award.
Naveen Jindal, a former Member of Parliament and a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas, was recognized for his achievements as a student leader and was awarded the Student Leader of the Year Award during his time at the university. He later received the Distinguished Alumni award in 2010. In 2011, the university rechristened its School of Management as the Naveen Jindal School of Management in recognition of his enormous success as one of their most distinguished alumni. The university’s highest honour, the Lifetime Achievement Award, is presented to alumni whose extraordinary contributions have made a positive impact on society, transformed the university, and inspired others to achieve excellence.
