NEET 2017 Cutoff – CBSE has released the cutoff of NEET 2017 along with the result on June 23. NEET cutoff 2017 is the minimum qualifying marks set by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to shortlist candidates for the counseling rounds. A total of 6,11,739 candidates is shortlisted for NEET 2017 counseling. The NEET 2017 cutoff marks are made available as per the category of test takers. NEET cutoff 2017 has been prepared depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appeared for exam, a difficulty level of paper, availability of seats in MBBS and BDS courses, etc. To qualify in the test, General category candidates must score at least 131 marks (50 percentile), whereas, SC/ST/OBC must score at least 107 marks (40 percentile). Among all the qualified candidates, top 15% rank holders will be eligible to participate in NEET counseling for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Based on cutoff, the rank for participating in NEET counseling for the AIQ seats will be prepared. Around 13,000 candidates will be offered admission to the MBBS and BDS seats of 180 medical and dental colleges (approx.) under All India Quota seats. Last year, a total of 19,325 candidates selected for participating in counseling under AIQ 15% seats.

The category wise NEET qualifying cutoff 2017 is being provided in the table below. The qualifying cutoff for the General category is 50th percentile i.e. candidates must score at least 131 marks. Go through the table below to check NEET 2017 qualifying cut off for various categories.

NEET Cutoff 2017 Scores – Overall (Category-wise):
Candidates who appeared in NEET 2017 have to secure the NEET 2017 cut off score as per their category to qualify the exam. Based on the cut off score, different states, deemed and private medical colleges will prepare their merit list for providing admission to MBBS and BDS seats in their respective colleges. The domicile opted by candidates will also be considered for admission to the State medical colleges. NEET cutoff 2017 Percentile – 15% All India Quota Seats
The NEET 2017 cut off for All India Quota seats has been declared by CBSE along with the result. Candidates securing equal to or more than prescribed 15% AIQ cut off to be allowed to participate in NEET 2017 counseling. The NEET 2017 15% AIQ cutoff will be updated as soon as it will be released by CBSE. According to last year cutoff analysis, general category candidates who had scored marks between 685 and 468 out of 720 were allowed to participate in counseling.
