Andhra Pradesh Police SI & Constable Notification Released
State Level Police Recruitment Board, Andhra Pradesh has released a notification for the recruitment of Sub Inspectors and Police Constables in the state. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on the official website - https://slprb.ap.gov.in/ - starting from November 30, 2022.
The APSLPRB Constable Notification process 2022 has started with the release of the official notification. The number of vacancies released is 6511 and more. This is a great opportunity for the candidates to secure a job in the Police department of Andhra Pradesh. As per their qualification and physical ability, the candidates can choose between different departments such as Civil, and Technical, and then apply from the official website. POLICE CONSTABLES – Educational Qualifications:
Intermediate or its equivalent examination. In the case of a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribe, he/she must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination and should have studied Intermediate and appeared for the intermediate examinations of 1st year and 2nd year.
Final Selection
Civil Sub Inspectors:The final written examination Paper I and II are qualifying in nature. Paper III will be consisting of 200 marks and paper IV consisting of 200 marks, total 400 marks, will be taken into account for the final selection.
APSP Reserve Sub Inspectors:Based on their score in the Final written examination (Paper-III-100 marks, Paper-IV-100 marks, Total 200 marks) and Physical Efficiency Test (for 100 marks), totalling to 300 marks. The final written examination paper I and II are qualifying in nature.
POLICE CONSTABLES
RESERVATION:
WOMEN RESERVATION: 33% % in all categories. EWS, BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D, BC-E, SC, ST and Ex. Servicemen as per rule of reservation.
Reservation for Special Categories:
Civil Constables: 2% for Meritorious Sports Person (MSP); 3% for NCC; 15% for Home Guards (HG); 4% for Children of Police Personnel (CPP) and 2% for CDI.
APSP Constables: 2% for Meritorious Sports Person (MSP); 3% for NCC; 25% for Home Guards (HG); 4% for Children of Police Personnel (CPP) and 2% for CDI.
NOTE THAT THE RESERVATION QUOTA FOR HOME GUARDS HAS BEEN INCREASED SUBSTANTIALLY FROM 8% to 15% IN RESPECT OF CIVIL CONSTABLES, AND 10% TO 25% IN RESPECT OF APSP CONSTABLES.
