POLYCET-2021 Entrance Examinationa for admissiion into Diloma Courses in Engineering (Polytechnic), Agriculture and animal Husbandry & Fisheries will be conducted on 12-06-2021 (Saturday) throughout the Telangana state. The exam will be conducted as per SSC Topics in syllabus for Academic Year 2020-2021 in Mathematics & Physics science subjects for engineering Diploma courses offered by SBTET, Hyderabad whereas exam will be conducted for Agriculture Diploma courses offered by PJSTSAU and animal Husbandry & Fisheries Diploma courses offered by P.V Narsimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University, Hyderabad in Mahematics, Physics science & Biology subjects as per the below tentative schedule:

"Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test 2021 (TS-POLYCET 2021)". This examination known as TSPOLYCET 2021 will be conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad. The examination is held once in a year and is done on state level basis. {Who are eligible for Telangana POLYCET 2021?}:

Educational Qualification:

1. Candidates under the age of 15 will be unable to participate in the TS POLYCET 2021 entrance examination. The age limit for taking the entrance examination is not set.Only candidates from the state of Telangana are eligible to apply for this admission exam. Candidates must be residents of the Telangana state.
2. If candidates want to take the TS POLYCET 2021, they must pass the SSC Exam in Telangana.Candidates who have passed their Secondary level examinations from boards such as the Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE), the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE), the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), the AP Open School Society, and others recognised by the Telangana Government are also eligible for the entrance exam.
3. There are some subjects that candidates must have in order to pass the qualifying exam. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are among these subjects.Candidates must obtain a minimum of 35 percent to be considered qualified. Candidates must achieve a score of 35 percent in each Paper.

The syllabus for POLYCET is the same as that of SSC Examination of July conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Telangana.The Exam Paper for common Entrance Test for admission into polytechnics consists of 120 questions. All questions are of multiple – choice type.

• The following information must be kept ready for filling the details during Online submission:
  1. Hall ticket Number of Qualifying Examination
  2. Hall ticket Number of S.S.C. or equivalent
  3. Date of Birth
  4. Caste in case of SC/ST/BC candidates
  5. Aadhar Number Entry
  6. PH, NCC, Sports etc.

• After filling the Online Application Form with the required details,
the candidate is required to verify all the details carefully and press Submit button. Filled in Online Application Form will be generated which contains Registration Number along with filled in details. The candidate is required to take printout of Filled In Online Application Form and it is to be submitted to the Invigilator during the examination after affixing a recent color photograph duly attested by the Gazetted Officer or Principal of the College where studied qualifying examination.
• Note down your "Reference Number" for further process.
• After successful fee submission, you can fill the application form by clicking on the link "Click here to proceed to enter application".
• You have to upload your scanned photographs (size should be less than 30 KB) and signature (size should be less than 15 KB) in a JPEG format.

• The candidate has to submit the "FILLED IN ONLINE POLYCET 2021 APPLICATION FORM" to the invigilator in the Examination Hall on the day of the TSPOLYCET-2021 exam. Also, affix a recent color photograph (3.5cms x 3.5cms) in the box provided (Bottom / Left side) on the "FILLED IN ONLINE POLYCET 2021 APPLICATION FORM" and get it attested by a Gazetted Officer / Principal of the college where studied.
• The candidate belonging to SC/ST category has to submit the attested "CASTE CERTIFICATE" along with the FILLED IN ONLINE APPLICATION FORM" to the Invigilator on day of the TSPOLYCET-2021 exam in the Examination Hall, in case, the Application number of his/her Caste Certificate is not provided at the time of the Online submission of the Application.

QUALIFYING MARKS FOR TS POLYCET 2021

The qualifying percentage of marks for the TS POLYCET-2021 is 37 maximum marks considered for ranking. However, for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe, no minimum qualifying mark is prescribed. But their admission will be limited to the extent of seats reserved for such categories (vide G.O.Ms. No. 179, LEN&TE, dated 16.06.1986).
