About Sikkim Public Service Commission:

Sikkim became an integral part of the Indian Union in May 1975. State Public Service Commission was established in the year 1978. The Public Commission has actually started functioning from 1982 with the appointment of the Chairman and the deputation of the staff from the State Government.

Consequent upon the decision of the Union Public Service Commission to declare Gangtok as one of the Centres for conducting Union Public Service Commission Examinations, the Sikkim Public Service Commission has been entrusted with the work of conducting Union Public Service Commission examinations. Sikkim Public Service Commission Exam is held every year. Candidates can do full preparation before the exam.

Educational Qualification:
 
Post Graduate Degree in any subject with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade. (Relaxation of 5% will be given to Ph.D. degree holders who have obtained Master Degree prior to 19th September 1991.)Consistently good academic record. Ph.D. Degree. 15 years College teaching/administrative experience. “100% by direct recruitment and preference shall be given to local Lecturers working in various Colleges of Sikkim having Ph.D. and a minimum experience of 15 (fifteen) years in their respective fields.”

Application form can be downloaded from www.spscskm.gov.in Complete application form should reach the office of the Sikkim Public Service Commission on or before 23/09/2017 on any working day between 10.30 am. To 03.30 pm along with original Bank Receipt of State bank of Sikkim, for Rs. 150/- credited to ‘0051-SPSC’. The amount once deposited shall not be refunded or adjusted against any other purpose.
